Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in leading store operations, including supervising staff, merchandising, deposits, and profitability. Responsibilities include providing superior customer service, opening/closing the store at least two days per week, scheduling employees, training, safety meetings, maintaining inventory, implementing planograms, ensuring cashier accountability and cash control, and assisting in store management in the Manager's absence. Skills include interpersonal and communication abilities, problem solving, attention to detail, cash handling, driving deposits to the bank, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
- One year of experience in a retail environment
- Six months supervisory experience preferred
