Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager to support Store Manager in supervising staff, merchandising, cash handling, deposits, scheduling, training, safety meetings, inventory control, and ensuring profitability; responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, operating cash register, building merchandise displays, maintaining planograms, enforcing security and cash-control procedures, and stepping in for Store Manager in their absence. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills, plus ability to read and interpret procedures and safety rules, are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of retail experience
- Six months supervisory experience
- Ability to drive own vehicle to the bank to deposit money
