Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager responsible for supporting the Store Manager in leading a customer-first store. Key duties include supervising store employees, professional cash handling and deposits, operating cash register, stocking and presenting merchandise, maintaining inventory accuracy, building merchandise displays, implementing planograms, and ensuring financial integrity through cashier accountability and adherence to security practices. Also involved in scheduling, training, safety meetings, policy compliance, and assisting in the Store Manager’s absence to help maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
- One year of experience in a retail environment
- Six months supervisory experience preferred
