Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager leads customer service, supervises store employees, and supports Store Manager with merchandising, scheduling, training, safety, and policy compliance. Responsible for cash handling, cashier accountability, deposits, planograms, inventory management, and ensuring profitability and loss prevention. Plays a key role in opening/closing the store, building displays, and maintaining financial integrity through accurate reports and adherence to security procedures. Also assists in store operations in the manager's absence and supports cross-functional store responsibilities including receiving, stocking, and ensuring proper merchandise presentation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
- One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred
