Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager at Dollar General responsible for supporting store operations, supervising staff, merchandising, cash handling, scheduling, training, safety compliance, inventory control, planogram execution, and ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction. Duties include greeting customers, operating cash register, opening/closing the store, managing deposits, and assisting in Store Manager duties in absence of the Store Manager. Education requirement: high school diploma or equivalent preferred; retail experience and supervisory experience valued.
Required Qualifications

- One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred
