Job Summary
ASST STORE MGR at Dollar General in Mary Esther, FL, responsible for assisting the Store Manager in leading store operations, supervising staff, merchandising, and maintaining financial integrity. Duties include customer-service leadership, operating cash register, scheduling and training employees, monitoring inventory and planograms, ensuring loss prevention and cash controls, and stepping in during Store Manager absence. Requires strong interpersonal, written and oral communication, problem solving, organizational skills, ability to perform cash handling and bank deposits, and familiarity with safety and store procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
- One year of experience in a retail environment
- six months supervisory experience preferred
