Job Summary
ASST STORE MGR at Dollar General in Mansfield, OH. Responsible for assisting the Store Manager with supervision of store employees, merchandise presentation, cashiering and deposits, scheduling, training, safety adherence, planogram execution, inventory control, and safeguarding company assets to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction. Duties include greeting customers, operating the cash register, handling refunds/overrides, maintaining store standards, conducting safety meetings, and ensuring financial integrity through cashier accountability and deposit control. Requires problem-solving, strong communication, organization, and ability to drive bank deposits. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; 1 year retail experience and 6 months supervisory experience recommended. Also involves physical duties such as lifting up to 40 pounds, occasional 55 pounds, and frequent walking/standing in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
