Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager by supervising store staff, assisting with merchandise presentation, scheduling, training, and ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include opening/closing the store, managing cashiering and deposits, maintaining planograms and inventory, authorizing refunds/overrides, and providing leadership in the Store Manager’s absence. Must demonstrate strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and basic math. Requires ability to drive to banks for deposits and willingness to engage in a fast-paced retail environment with adherence to company policies and safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred
