Job Summary
The Assistant Store Manager at Dollar General in Hermitage, PA will help maintain a customer-first store environment under the Store Manager’s direction, supervise employees, assist with merchandise presentation and inventory, handle deposits and cashiering, and contribute to profitability and loss prevention. Key duties include superior customer service leadership, opening/closing the store several days per week, scheduling and training staff, ensuring planograms and displays are maintained, managing inventory and damages, overseeing cash handling and deposit procedures, and stepping in for the Store Manager in their absence.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
- One year of experience in a retail environment
- Six months supervisory experience preferred
