Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager at Dollar General in Cross Hill, SC, responsible for delivering a customer-first store experience under the Store Manager's direction. Duties include supervising store employees, merchandising and display management, completing paperwork and deposits, stocking and cashiering, inventory control, ensuring planograms are followed, cashier accountability and cash control procedures, and assisting with store operations in the Store Manager's absence. Requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, ability to read and interpret safety/operational documents, and capability to perform cash register functions and reports. High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred; 1 year retail experience and 6 months supervisory experience preferred.
