Job Summary
Assist Store Manager in leading store operations with a customer-first focus. Responsibilities include supervising store employees, scheduling and training, maintaining merchandise presentation and inventory, handling cashier tasks and deposits, applying planograms, and ensuring financial integrity through cash-control procedures. Requires strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills; experience in retail and some supervisory responsibilities preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
- One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred
- Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as diagrams, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control
- Ability to drive own vehicle to the bank to deposit money
