Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager assists with supervision of store employees, management and presentation of merchandise, handling deposits, and cashiering while maximizing profitability and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include greeting customers, operating cash register, opening/closing the store, scheduling employees, training, safety meetings, maintaining accurate inventory, executing planograms, ensuring cash handling integrity, approving refunds/overrides, counting tills, and depositing funds.Supports the Store Manager in their absence and ensures adherence to company policies and security practices.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
- One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred
