Job Summary
Assist Store Manager in leading store operations with a customer-first focus, supervise store employees, manage merchandise presentation, handle deposits and cashier accountability, and support in the Store Manager's absence. Responsible for opening/closing the store at least two days per week, scheduling employees, training, safety meetings, following company policies, maintaining inventory accuracy, executing planograms, and ensuring financial integrity of the store through cash handling procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
- One year of experience in a retail environment
- Six months supervisory experience preferred
- Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as diagrams, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals
- Ability to drive own vehicle to the bank to deposit money
