Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager at Dollar General in Atlanta, GA. Responsible for assisting the Store Manager with supervising store employees, managing merchandise presentation and inventory, cashiering and deposits, and ensuring customer-first service. Performs stocking, planogram implementation, and loss-control duties; supports scheduling, training, safety meetings, and policy compliance; maintains financial integrity through cashier accountability and deposit controls; may supervise in the Store Manager's absence. Requires strong interpersonal, written and oral communication, problem-solving, organizational skills, and the ability to drive deposits. Willingness to work in a fast-paced retail environment with lifting, walking, and occasional travel between stores.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
- One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred
