Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager at Dollar General in Athens, PA: supports store leadership in supervising employees, merchandising, deposits, and cashiering; assists with scheduling, training, safety meetings, and policy adherence; ensures planograms and inventory accuracy; maintains financial integrity through cashier accountability and cash-control procedures; prepares deposits and assists in store management in the Store Manager's absence. Requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, problem solving, organization, ability to read safety and operating manuals, and cash handling. Retail experience and supervisory exposure are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
- One year of experience in a retail environment
- Six months supervisory experience preferred
