Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager assists the Store Manager with supervising store employees, merchandising and presentation of merchandise, deposits, and paperwork. Duties include stocking and cashiering, employee scheduling and training, implementing planograms, maintaining inventory accuracy, enforcing cash control procedures, managing refunds/overrides, and supporting store operations in the manager's absence. Requires strong interpersonal, written and oral communication, problem-solving, organizational skills, cash handling, math, and the ability to drive to the bank; duties emphasize customer service leadership, cashier accountability, and store security in a fast-paced retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
- One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred.
