Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager with Dollar General assists the Store Manager by supervising store employees, managing merchandising and deposits, stocking and cashiering, and maximizing profitability and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include greeting customers, operating the cash register, opening/closing the store, scheduling and training staff, maintaining planograms and inventory accuracy, ensuring financial integrity through cashier accountability and deposit procedures, and stepping in for the Store Manager in their absence. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
- One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred
