Assistant Store Manager responsible for leading store operations under the Store Manager, including customer service leadership, cashiering, opening/closing the store a minimum of two days per week, scheduling and training employees, executing merchandising plans, maintaining inventory accuracy, handling cash procedures, and supporting the Store Manager in managing store performance and assets. Key duties include operating the cash register, processing deposits, enforcing company policies, ensuring planogram compliance, protecting assets, and assisting in the Store Manager’s absence. Requires strong interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to read safety and procedures manuals, and ability to lift up to 55 pounds; high school diploma or equivalent preferred and retail supervisory experience desirable.
