Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager at Dollar General in Ferdinand, IN. Oversees store operations with a customer-first focus, assisting the Store Manager with supervision of employees, stocking, merchandising, inventory control, deposits, and store procedures. Performs cashiering, assists with scheduling and training, ensures planograms are maintained, supports cash handling and security practices, and can stand in for the Store Manager as needed. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
- One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to drive own vehicle to the bank to deposit money
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as diagrams, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals
