Job Summary
Assist Store Manager in leading a Dollar General store to maintain a customer-first focus. Responsibilities include supervising store employees, merchandising and inventory management, scheduling, training, safety and policy compliance, cash handling and deposits, opening/closing the store, and supporting financial integrity and loss prevention. Must be capable of cashiering, operating the register, and executing planograms while ensuring accurate inventory, proper display of merchandise, and adherence to company procedures. Prior supervisory experience in retail and strong interpersonal/communication skills are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
- One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred
