Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager at Dollar General in Princeton, KY, accountable for supervising store staff, merchandising, cashiering, deposits, inventory control, and ensuring customer satisfaction under the Store Manager’s direction. Duties include opening/closing the store, scheduling and training employees, enforcing safety and company procedures, maintaining planograms, managing cash and deposits, and taking on store leadership in the Manager’s absence. Requires strong interpersonal, organizational, and numerical skills, knowledge of cash handling and loss prevention, and ability to perform merchandising and reporting tasks.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred
