Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager helps maintain a clean, well-organized store with a customer-first focus under the Store Manager's direction. Responsibilities include supervision of store employees, management and presentation of merchandise, processing deposits, stocking and cashiering, scheduling employees, training, safety meetings, ensuring planogram compliance, inventory control, cash handling and accountability, and stepping in during Store Manager's absence. Requires strong customer service, problem-solving, organizational skills, and the ability to drive cash-handling accuracy and store profitability.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
- One year of experience in a retail environment
- Six months supervisory experience preferred
