Job Summary
Direct Grocery Manager, Department Managers, and Store Associates while assisting the Store Director with all functions, including GM/HBC, wine and spirits, tobacco, and check stand candy. Provide exceptional service to clientele, train new team members thoroughly, and manage inventory, ordering, returns, and merchandising. Maintain compliance with government regulations and company policies, resolve conflicts, and coach staff to ensure a stable workforce. Requires ability to lift 60 lb. boxes, use sharp instruments, and work in environments with slippery floors.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10/20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments
- Must have good, corrected vision
- Must have good, corrected hearing
- Must have the ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
