Job Summary
Direct Grocery Manager, Department Managers, and Store Associates while assisting the Store Director with all functions, including GM/HBC, wine, spirits, and tobacco departments. Manage daily operations by providing exceptional service, training new team members, and maintaining inventory through ordering, returns, and merchandising. Monitor sales and labor metrics, enforce company policies regarding dress and name tags, and ensure compliance with government regulations. Resolve conflicts and coach staff to maintain a disciplined, non-offensive work environment. Requires ability to lift 60 lb. boxes, use sharp instruments, and work in conditions with slippery floors.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10/20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments
- Must have good, corrected vision
- Must have good, corrected hearing
- Must have the ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
