Job Summary
Direct Grocery Manager, Department Managers, and Store Associates while assisting the Store Director with all store functions, including GM/HBC, wine, spirits, tobacco, and check stand candy. Provide exceptional service to clientele, train new team members thoroughly, and manage inventory, ordering, returns, and merchandising. Maintain records compliant with government regulations and enforce company policies regarding dress and name tags. Resolve conflicts, coach staff, and ensure a disciplined work environment through critical thinking and clear communication. Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes, exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently, and use knives and sharp instruments. Requires good vision, hearing, and the ability to stand, kneel, and work on floors that sometimes become slippery.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion and/or exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently and/or 10/20 lbs. of force constantly while moving and handling materials and products.
- Must have dexterous use of both hands.
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items so that objects move toward areas of use.
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments utilized in the preparation of food items and/or removing product from boxes.
- Good, corrected vision.
- Good, corrected hearing.
- Ability to stoop.
- Ability to kneel.
- Ability to stand.
- Ability to reach.
- Ability to push.
- Ability to pull.
- Ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery.
