Job Summary
Direct Grocery Manager, Department Managers, and Store Associates while assisting the Store Director with all store functions, including GM/HBC, wine, spirits, and tobacco departments. Manage daily operations by providing exceptional service, training new team members, and overseeing inventory, ordering, and merchandising. Lead a disciplined workforce through coaching, conflict resolution, and clear communication to ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations. Handle tasks requiring lifting up to 60 lbs and use of sharp instruments in a medium-paced environment. Maintain accurate records and stay updated on all office management communications to support the store's objective of quality food and service at the best prices.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion and/or exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently and/or 10/20 lbs. of force constantly while moving and handling materials and products.
- Must have dexterous use of both hands.
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items so that objects move toward areas of use.
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments utilized in the preparation of food items and/or removing product from boxes.
- Good, corrected vision.
- Good, corrected hearing.
- Ability to stoop.
- Ability to kneel.
- Ability to stand.
- Ability to reach.
- Ability to push.
- Ability to pull.
- Ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery.
