Asst Softball Coach - High School 2026/2027

The Assistant Softball Coach will assist the head coach with instruction of fundamental softball skills, develop and implement training plans for players, and help foster athletic and personal growth. Responsibilities include modeling sports-like behavior, supervising program aspects under the head coach, scheduling and attending practices, aligning training with program goals, ensuring compliance with CHSAA rules, monitoring attendance, behavior, and academics, participating in parent nights and award events, recognizing and removing players with concussion signs, and transporting players in a school vehicle when needed. Requires CHSAA coaching registration, concussion coursework, and CPR/AED certification; the role involves lifting and daily physical activity and is non-exempt FSLA for a school athletics program in Strasburg, CO. Days and terms are determined by the Athletic Director.
