Job Summary
Assistant Principal (Senior) role responsible for creating an atmosphere that enables students to maximize benefits from school programs, services, and opportunities while allowing teachers to teach. Requires a Master’s Degree, leadership training completion within a year of appointment, and at least three years of teaching experience. Must be certified or eligible for Florida academic/vocational certification and Florida Educational Leadership/Administration certifications, plus a valid Florida Driver’s License. Based in Melbourne, FL and full-time.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree from an accredited educational institution
- Successful completion, or completion within one year of appointment, of the Leadership Awareness Training Program
- Minimum of three (3) years’ successful teaching experience
- Certified in, or eligible for, an academic or vocational area by the State of Florida
- Certified in Educational Leadership, Administration and Supervision or Administration by the State of Florida
- Valid Florida Driver’s License
