Job Summary
Asst. Physician Office Coordinator II supports a high-volume urology practice by supervising staff, ensuring timely credentialing and re-credentialing for managed care, coordinating scheduling and workflow, monitoring billing processes and encounter documentation, and maintaining daily office operations. The role collaborates with office/clinical leadership to ensure policy adherence, accurate time and attendance records (UKG), and smooth communication across departments. Responsibilities include staff meetings, ensuring insurance eligibility and authorizations ahead of appointments, managing patient records and logs, assisting with financial reconciliations, monitoring dashboards, managing supplies, and contributing to community outreach and referrals. Requires experience in a physician practice/healthcare setting and an associate-level degree or higher preferred, with demonstrated ability to supervise staff and manage office operations in a fast-paced clinical environment.
