Job Summary
Assistant Manager role overseeing restaurant operations in partnership with the Restaurant Manager, driving guest satisfaction and profitability. Responsibilities include recruiting, training, developing and evaluating staff; ensuring adherence to labor laws and company procedures; delivering exceptional guest experiences and food quality; using management tools to analyze performance, control costs, and implement action plans to improve sales and profitability; maintaining brand standards and Service Profit Chain initiatives; supervising team performance, coaching, and development; and ensuring proper food safety practices and HACCP. Required competencies include strong interpersonal and communication skills, ServSafe certification, English proficiency, ability to manage multiple priorities, financial acumen, and the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 65 lbs, and travel to other locations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 18 years or older
- ServSafe certification
- Ability to speak, read, and write English
- Must have valid driver's license and own vehicle for deposits and travel to other locations as required
- Internal Promote: Minimum 1+ years as a Shift Leader or 1 year as an Assistant Manager in a customer service environment; must be 100% certified in all workstations
- External Recruit: Minimum of 3 years experience as an Assistant Manager with some P&L responsibility
- Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
