Job Summary
Lead the overall planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the Appropriate Adults for Young Suspects (AAYS) Scheme, ensuring effective day-to-day operations and service delivery. Develop annual work plans, manage programme budgets, and oversee the administration of the Call Activation System and Volunteer Management System. Conduct programme audits, governance reviews, and risk management processes while collaborating with government agencies, law enforcement, and community partners. Strengthen organisation-wide volunteer management, engagement, and development efforts in alignment with the Volunteer Management Framework. Monitor performance data to inform strategic planning and drive operational improvements across all volunteer operations.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in programme management, volunteer management or related fields
- At least 3 years of direct experience leading and supervising teams, with the ability to coach, develop and manage staff performance
- Strong programme and operational management skills, with experience overseeing service delivery, budgets, governance and risk management
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and partnership management across government, corporate and community sectors with the ability to build collaborative relationships across multiple sectors
- Strong facilitation, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and continuous improvement
