Asst, Kindgten REF

The Kindergarten Assistant will provide academic, socio-emotional, and behavioral support under the direction of the kindergarten teacher, including one-on-one, small-group, and whole-group instruction. Responsibilities include preparing instructional materials, planning time for teachers (including outdoor activities, rhythm activities, and story time), lunchroom assistance, and supervising routines such as dismissal and restroom use. Reports to the principal and kindergarten teachers; experience with young children and basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) are noted, with language and mathematical skills expectations and the ability to present information in one-on-one and small group settings. District expectations emphasize attendance, civility, professionalism, and alignment with the district mission and strategic plan. Preference is given to veterans and spouses of Florida residents.
