Asst.Food Storekeeper

Job Summary
Assist in receiving, inspecting, and storing food and beverage deliveries while maintaining accurate inventory records and reporting discrepancies. Monitor cleanliness of storage areas, conduct regular stock checks, and prepare orders for delivery to vessels. Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols and support training of junior staff. Adhere to company policies and procedures. Requires a high school diploma, one year of experience in a similar role, knowledge of food safety regulations, and physical fitness to lift heavy objects. Valid driver's license preferred. Flexible hours including weekends and holidays required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role, preferably in a maritime or hospitality setting
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
