Job Summary
Senior-level product leadership for UnderwriteIQ and primary underwriting solutions within Moody’s Insurance Solutions. Define and communicate the strategic vision, lead the product management team, drive roadmaps, and collaborate with software development, data science, and QA to deliver high-quality updates. Serve as a primary client liaison, gather requirements, demonstrate product capabilities, and support sales and client services. Champion adoption of AI, machine learning, and predictive analytics to improve underwriting efficiency and accuracy, while staying informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and technology advancements. The role focuses on strategic and technical leadership across the full product lifecycle and emphasizes innovative technologies to maintain competitive advantage in the insurance market.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in product management, software development, or technical leadership roles within the insurance industry
- Demonstrated expertise in underwriting processes, methodologies, and technologies, particularly within primary insurance lines such as property and casualty, life, and health
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or a related field
- Advanced degree or professional certification such as CPCU, ACAS, or FCAS is a plus
- Employment eligibility to work in the United States is required; Moody’s will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position
