Job Summary
Manage move-in and move-out experiences, handle resident requests, and oversee delinquencies by issuing 3-day notices or forwarding documents to attorneys. Accept rental payments, record monies, and maintain debit, credit, and total accounts using Yardi software. Assist the Community Manager in marketing the apartment community through online ads, social media, and community outreach, including placing banners and acting as a point of contact for prospective residents. Prepare lease forms, collect deposits, and ensure model apartments are market-ready. Update DQ notes monthly and support collection procedures in accordance with company policies.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of multi-family property management experience in operations/resident services
- 1 year of working knowledge using Yardi software
- Sales and/or leasing experience
- General office experience
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to interact effectively with prospects, residents, peers and management
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be extremely organized, detail-oriented and able to multi-task
- Knowledge of federal and state wage and hour regulations
- Ability to prepare financial and related reports
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
- Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
- Must be able to frequently move/traverse, ascend/descend stairs in/around apartment homes and community
- Must be able to constantly operate computer and other office machinery
- Must be able to constantly position self to bend, stoop, reach, lift
- Must be able to occasionally lift/move/carry up to 25lbs with/without assistance
- Must be able to constantly communicate, converse and exchange information with coworkers, vendors, residents and visitors
- Must be able to constantly work in outdoor weather conditions
- Must be able to drive golf cart
- Must have a valid driver's license where driving is a necessary job function and alternative transportation isn't feasible
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in bookkeeping preferred
