Job Summary
Assist the head coach with practice planning, scouting reports, player development, and team administrative duties while recruiting qualified student-athletes. Work closely with players to develop individual and team lacrosse skills, promote academic achievement through study halls, and manage logistics including film breakdown, scheduling, and travel coordination. Foster a disciplined team culture and engage in community outreach and fundraising efforts. This part-time role requires flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends, with a focus on mentorship and NCAA Division II compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Collegiate playing or coaching experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Ability to build professional relationships with student-athletes and other staff members
- Strong communication with the coaching staff and team
- Commitment to adhere to Young Harris College, Conference Carolinas, and NCAA DII rules and regulations
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends
