Job Summary
Assistant Cheerleading Coach for a high school program; responsible for instructing fundamental cheer skills, planning training to support competition goals, supervising practice sessions, monitoring attendance and academics, ensuring concussion safety, and transporting students to competitions when needed. Must hold CHSAA coaching registration, pass CHSAA coaching test, complete concussion training, and maintain CPR/AED certifications. Non-exempt school role reporting to Athletic Director and Head Coach, with duties including leadership, professional conduct, and collaboration with staff, students, and community partners.
Required Qualifications
- Successfully pass the CHSAA coaches test
- acquire CHSAA coaching registration
- complete a concussion course per State Legislation and CHSAA By-Laws
- CPR & AED Certifications required
