Job Summary
Assistant 7 Hour Student Nutrition assists in meal service, prepares, cooks, and serves hot and cold food items, handles cash, records temperatures to ensure safety, maintains the serving line, and supports SNS staff with special diet requests while adhering to HACCP and SNS guidelines and school policies. The role emphasizes customer service, cleanliness, accurate documentation, and compliance with federal, state, and local rules governing student nutrition services.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in kitchen or cooking

- Cash handling and end-of-day cash procedures
