Job Summary
Assist in preparation, cooking, and serving of meals and cashiering for federal reimbursable meals and a la carte items under supervision. Responsibilities include preparing hot and cold items, portioning, setting up serving lines, taking food temperatures and recording results, handling cash and checks, verifying dietary alerts, maintaining meal production records and HACCP compliance, ensuring proper storage and cleaning of all food and equipment, and delivering friendly customer service while adhering to district policies and safety guidelines. Requires ability to follow end-of-day cash procedures, maintain cleanliness, and support a positive team environment; location: Thonotosassa, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in kitchen or cooking preferred
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operation manuals
- Basic English language skills
