Assistant 6 Hour Student Nutrition is responsible for the preparation, cooking and serving of hot/cold food and cashiering for federal reimbursable meals and a la carte items to students and staff under supervision. The role requires upholding HACCP and SNS guidelines, recording temperatures, setting up serving lines, handling cash and checks accurately, ensuring proper documentation for production records and compliance with district policies, and delivering friendly, respectful customer service while maintaining cleanliness and safe food handling. Must be able to work in a school-nutrition environment with basic English, math, and computer skills, and complete SNS training modules.
