Job Summary
The role focuses on providing fast, friendly service to customers in-store, actively seeking out customers to assist with projects, and guiding them to the right solutions. Key duties include greeting, engaging, and thanking customers, promoting services (e.g., Tool Rental, Pro Desk), driving sales by discussing options and suggesting related items, educating customers about entire projects, maintaining stock and product knowledge across the department and adjacent areas, ensuring safety and loss-prevention practices, and maintaining a clean, organized department. Strong emphasis on customer focus, communication, and willingness to learn about products and services to solve customer needs in a retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years retail experience asset
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
- Customer-service oriented with ability to engage customers and assess needs
