Job Summary
Join TELUS Health's National Group for Defined Contribution Pension Consulting, leveraging over 50 years of experience in providing exceptional consulting services. This role involves leading strategic directions for the defined contribution consulting practice in Quebec, managing complex pension projects, and developing new business opportunities. Responsibilities include cultivating client relationships, providing expert advice on pension plan matters, supervising service delivery across defined contribution services, and mentoring team members to foster a culture of excellence. An ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, strategic thinking skills, and extensive experience in defined benefit pension plans.
Required Qualifications
- 15 years or more of experience in the field of defined benefit pension plans
- CFA, FCIA or other financial designations
- Excellent client relationship management skills and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Strategic thinking with an exceptional client orientation
- Strong communication, project management, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Solid understanding of software, particularly MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- In-depth knowledge of provincial pension laws and best practices
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in business development and client acquisition
- Proven successful management of client relationships and team leadership

- Bilingualism (English and French) may be required for some tasks if knowledge of English is necessary to interact with external or internal parties.
