Job Summary
Operate forklift and warehouse equipment to load, unload, and transfer materials while ensuring all items are received per procedure and stocked in assigned locations. Maintain inventory, prepare cycle counts, complete will calls, and accurately process paperwork and transaction entries. Follow established work processes, safety protocols, and standard operating procedures while wearing proper PPE and performing pre/post shift forklift inspections. Assist customers and CSRs as needed and alert the manager of any equipment concerns immediately.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- 1 plus years of warehouse experience
- Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 40 lbs or lift lighter items repetitively or perform 2 man lifts for heavier items
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Must be eligible to be forklift certified in house within 30 days
- Ability to pass Prove It and driving test
- Ability to understand and follow work instructions, policies and procedures
- Be dependable, work well in a team environment, and establish positive working relationships with employees and customers
- Ability to operate a forklift safely and work in a fast-paced warehouse
- Ability to successfully process (ex. Loading and Unloading) products
- Basic Computer skills including data entry to process transactions and generate reports and orders
- High level of attention to detail and surroundings
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- 1 plus years industrial forklift experience strongly preferred
