Job Summary
Associate, Volunteer Support Services provides frontline volunteer inquiries across multiple channels, delivers accurate, timely responses based on approved scripts, FAQs, and policies, logs and tracks volunteer cases in CRM/ticketing systems, escalates issues as needed, supports accessibility and accommodation inquiries, contributes to knowledge base content, and supports on-site activities at the Volunteer Experience Center and volunteer events. Requires an Associate’s or bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and a minimum of 3 years in customer service or a related role, with experience working with volunteers and in high-volume, public-facing environments. Flexible hours and open office environment in Downtown Los Angeles.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in customer service, contact center support, or a related role
- Experience working with volunteers
- Experience handling inquiries or requests in a high‐volume or public‐facing environment
- Basic experience using CRM, ticketing systems, or shared inbox tools (preferred)
- Willingness to work flexible hours or extended schedules during peak operational periods
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize work in a fast‐paced environment
