Job Summary

Kroll is seeking an Associate Vice President (equivalent to Manager) for the Portfolio Valuation Advisory Services team, aligned to the Australia office, to provide support on valuation engagements for global clients. Responsibilities include building long-term client relationships, delivering high-quality valuation work, mentoring and training staff, managing client engagements and resourcing, project management (interviews, engagement economics, team management, report writing, researching market information), and model building/review (DCF, comparable company, stock option, financial instrument, and loan valuations). Essential traits include 6-9 years of valuation-related experience in financial services, a Master's degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics or MBA (or CFA), strong technical and analytical skills, deep knowledge of corporate finance and valuation methods, leadership and client-management capabilities, and effective communication skills for senior audiences. Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6-9 years of valuation-related work experience in financial services
  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics or equivalent (e.g., CFA); or MBA from an accredited college/university
  • Demonstrated leadership experience including managing and developing client relationships as well as mentoring and developing staff
  • Proven technical skills, proven analytical and problem solving skills
  • In-depth technical knowledge in corporate finance, valuation methods and accounting
  • Experience of working with investment firms, end clients, PV/VC firms including infrastructure funds etc. is preferred
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, comfortable speaking with senior management and in front of an audience
  • Ability to manage confidential, sensitive information
