Job Summary
Lead the Greater Boston market's operations for the Heart & Stroke Gala and Go Red for Women campaigns, guiding staff to exceed annual revenue goals and contributing $2M to the overall market target. Manage top corporate accounts, secure cause sponsorships, and recruit volunteer and executive leadership teams while cultivating blended sponsorships with CEOs and community leaders. Develop and monitor campaign budgets, coordinate event logistics, and prepare GAP meeting documentation to ensure fundraising and health outcomes success. Requires 75% travel within the assigned territory, a hybrid schedule, and a background in individual giving and corporate fundraising.
Required Qualifications
- University/College degree or equivalent experience
- 3 years minimum prior relevant experience
- at least 1 year of supervisory experience
- Consistent track record in exceeding sales/fundraising goals
- Experience in recruiting, training, and advising multiple staff in a team environment
- Understand and navigate workplace cultures to achieve goals
- Proven experience in building powerful partnerships with corporate leaders and senior-level volunteers
- Proven track record of cultivating major donors, securing city-wide sponsorships, and recruiting new companies and donors
- Direct knowledge of special event fundraising tactics
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to do daily local travel up to 75%
