Associate Vice President, Fund Accounting, Opportunistic Credit

Job Summary

Oversee multiple funds with complex structures, managing daily cash flows, capital calls, distributions, and credit facility coordination. Lead quarterly and annual GAAP reporting, coordinating hands-on reviews with external administrators and auditors for management fees and waterfall calculations. Manage tax workflows in alignment with internal and external teams while supporting investor inquiries and marketing materials for upcoming fund launches. Ensure compliance reporting for credit facilities and regulatory filings, overseeing expense processes and partnership agreement adherence. Coordinate operational efforts with investment operations, performance teams, and offshore resources in the Mumbai office. Assist with system integrations, new process implementations, and fund onboarding to administrators.

Required Qualifications

  • BS/BA with major in Accounting, Economics, or Finance
  • CPA or CPA candidate
  • Prior experience at the Accounting Manager level (or equivalent)
  • Approximately 6 years of experience or more
  • Public accounting experience (Big 4) and/or relevant corporate/in-house experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
