Job Summary

Partner with the CMO to evolve and steward the Chartis brand, designing and executing an integrated external communications strategy that strengthens awareness, reputation, engagement, and differentiation. Lead the brand team in public relations, social media, digital marketing, and employer brand initiatives while overseeing digital strategy, including website governance and paid advertising. Manage brand integration for acquisitions, develop executive messaging, and coach leaders for media interviews. Oversee brand governance, editorial standards, and visual identity across all channels, partnering with recruiting to strengthen employer branding. Measure brand health, share of voice, and executive visibility using data-driven insights. Stay ahead of emerging trends in healthcare, communications, and AI to strengthen market position.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, English, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 12–15+ years of progressive leadership experience in brand strategy, communications, public relations, or corporate affairs, preferably within a consulting, professional services, healthcare, or B2B organization
  • Demonstrated success building and evolving corporate brands that support business growth and reputation
  • Deep expertise in executive communications, media relations, thought leadership, public relations, and integrated communications strategy
  • Outstanding writing and storytelling abilities, with experience crafting executive messaging, speeches, videos, bylined articles, and strategic narratives
  • Experience partnering directly with senior executives and advising leaders on communications strategy and executive presence
  • Strong understanding of brand positioning, messaging architecture, and reputation management
  • Ability to identify compelling stories and translate complex business or healthcare topics into clear, engaging communications
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to connect communications initiatives to business objectives and measurable outcomes
  • Comfortable working in a highly collaborative, matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including experience managing high-performing teams and cross-functional initiatives
  • Experience using communications measurement and media analytics tools to evaluate performance and inform strategy
