Job Summary
Associate Vice President, B2B/Technology Communications responsible for leading integrated PR, marketing, and content programs for B2B and technology accounts. Manages client relationships, mentors cross-functional teams, oversees budgets and workflows, and drives earned, owned, paid, and social media strategies with AI-enabled research and optimization. Drives executive thought leadership, influencer partnerships, and campaign integration across channels; supports business development and pitches; utilizes Generative AI tools to enhance content workflows, data analysis, and predictive insights; and maintains strong media relations with industry press and digital creators.
Required Qualifications
- 7–10 years of experience in B2B and technology comms/PR, ideally within an agency setting
- Interest and expertise in the evolving earned media landscape; proven network of top-tier and tech traditional and social media outlets important to clients’ business
- Experience managing campaigns that unify PR, social media, and content marketing to drive the lead-gen funnel
- Unflappable problem solver who can anticipate and proactively offer solutions to clients and senior leadership; anticipate problems before they arise through effective listening, regular client check-ins and communication
- Strong fluency in the AI landscape and a proven ability to explain its business impact to clients
- Expert-level understanding of the B2B social ecosystem, employee advocacy, and paid social integration
- Ability to distill complex technical jargon into compelling narratives for C-suite audiences and top-tier media.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale budgets, resource allocation, and profitable account growth
- Proficiency with modern marketing tools (e.g., ChatGPT/Claude for business, MuckRack, Meltwater, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and CRM platforms)
- The salary range for this role is $95,000-$110,000. The salary will be commensurate with the selected candidate's experience and dependent on the workplace.
