Associate / Vice President – Acquisition Finance NL & DACH

Job Summary
Lead day-to-day transaction management from initial evaluation through execution, steering internal credit approval workstreams and driving discussions with Risk and approval committees. Coordinate with the Loan Syndicate team on investor marketing materials and Q&A processes, while preparing client pitches and contributing to new business origination. Review transaction documentation, negotiate key terms with external counsel, and support Portfolio Management in handling amendments and identifying opportunities with existing clients. Mentor analysts, trainees, and interns while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements to maintain a strong risk culture.
Required Qualifications
- University degree
- 4-8 years of working experience
- preferably with an advisory, capital markets and/or lending background
- Strong credit analysis and financial modelling capabilities
- Ability to identify key commercial, financial and legal considerations within complex transaction structures and develop pragmatic solutions
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Strong commercial instinct and client-focused mindset
- Proven ability to perform effectively within a team-oriented deal environment
- High degree of self-motivation, ownership and organisational skills
- Fluency in English
